CLD102 - Observation
In my observation's course, I was taught how to write different types of observations; time sampling, event sampling, running record, and anecdote. As well, I was also taught how to spot the different types of play.
CLD212 - Curriculum II: Program Planning
There was an assignment we were given to do in this course which was to write a critical analysis about understanding the curriculum framework and pedagogy. In this assignment, I wrote about what I thought curriculum meant to me and why we need to think carefully, critically and politically about the curriculum. This relates to practice because it helps me understand more about what does the curriculum does in a classroom.

CLD241 - Children with Disabilities
In this course this year we learned about different types of disabiities - mental and physical, and how they affect each child differently. The final assignment we had was a group research-based advocacy letter written to the Minstry of Education, we chose to write on the affects of bullying in mainstream schooling for children with austism. Through this assignment we were able to voice the problems that are found regarding bullying towards children with austism in mainstream schooling and attempt to have something done about it.
CLD213 - History and Philosophy
In this course we were taught about the history of education and different views of many philosophers around what was the most ideal learning for children. Our finally assignment for this course was to write about what our personal philosophy were and I think this helped me figure out what I though were important such as the image of the child and educator.
CLD251 - Interpersonal Communication
Throughout this course we learned how to be come better with our interpersonal communication in a professional setting.

Year:
CLD342 - Assessment for Programming
In this course this year we learned about what IEPs are and their purpose for them. We were given opportunities on learning how to create IEPs for children and what important information is considered for them.
CLD314 - Literacy in the Early Years
Throughout this course, we learned the importance of literacy for children and created different opportunities that promote reading and writing for children.
CLD454- Policy in ECEC
In this course, we were taught about the social policies in Canada that are involved in education. We looked at different levels of government; federal, provincial, and municipal. We were able to learn to advocate for children and families from a micro and macro scale.
CLD332 - Families in Canadian Context II
Building on my second-year knowledge by taking Families in Canadian Context I, I was able to learn how to incorporate inclusive activities and resources around the classroom. As well as focusing on finding ways to move away from systemic learning.

CLD317 - Concept Development in Math
In this year's course, we learned how to teach math concepts to young children and overcome our fears/anxieties about teaching math. In this course, we learn different concepts to relate to math, such as the environment, creativity and play. We also learned how to create math-related lesson plans.
CLD307 - Cognitive Development
CLD445 - Inclusion and Consultation
In this course, we learn how to have more inclusive and diverse practices as well as learn more ways to deliver proper education and needs to children that have special needs and disabilities.
Throughout this course, we learn more in-depth on different cognitive theories to better learn how children's thinking and learning processes work.
