ABOUT ME!

From a young age, I have always loved to pretend play, especially being a teacher and teaching my parents "the students." When I got older, I realized that teaching wasn't something I only liked to pretend to do but actually to become one. Here I am now! I have learned much from my undergraduate ECS program at Toronto Metropolitan University and now being able to pursue my teaching goal at OISE.
In middle and high school, I had three teachers who inspired me to become a future teacher from how they taught and helped students succeed. They were my inspiration in wanting to become like them. They cared for every one of their students, created great bonds with them, were always excited to teach no matter what, and made learning fun. Most importantly, they never judged any of their students and always saw hope.
The dream begins, most of the time, with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you on to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called truth.
